Bridgewater Learning is a private company offering eLearning services to our clients in the form of Learning Management Systems and other Learning platforms and tools, Learning Management services, eLearning development, and a range of eLearning courses.
Contact information we collect on this website
We collect and process your personal contact information on this website in order to contact you for the purposes of understanding your requirements, and delivering our services accordingly.
For this purpose we will collect your contact details, including your first name, last name, email address, contact number, organisation and a brief description of what you are looking for.
This information is collected directly from you by using the Contact Us section of the Website, which results in an email being sent to us at our email address info@bridgewaterlearning.co.za. Where possible, we will inform you what information you are required to provide to us and what information is optional.
Website usage information may also be collected using “cookies” which allows us to collect standard internet visitor usage information.
Additional Contact information we may collect
We may also collect additional Contact information from you once we have contacted you, to confirm your personal information and service requirements, and the personal information relating to any other parties involved (as provided legally by you), and this combined information will be gathered and maintained in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, with the purpose of providing you with our services and communicating with you.
Additional information will also be collected in terms of ongoing communications and service provision to you or to your organisation, or partnership with you or your organisation.
If you have a LinkedIn account and have agreed to connect with us (from a request to connect sent to you by us, or from a request to connect sent to us by you) then information on your LinkedIn Personal Profile may be collected and added to the information we have on our CRM system.
System user information
Where you wish to test the systems that we provide to our clients, or where you become an active user on these systems, then we will gather the needed information to enable this process, including as a minimum, first name, last name, and email address, and possibly other needed information for reporting purposes as defined by you or your organisation.
This information will be password protected (other than to Bridgewater Learning as systems administrators) and you will have the ability to change your password.
How we use your information
We will use your personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected, as agreed with you. In addition, where necessary your information may be retained for legal or research purposes.
For example we will use your information in order to:
- communicate with you using email, phone calls, WhatsApp or LinkedIn as appropriate;
- provide marketing information on our products and services;
- confirm and verify your identity;
- verify that you are an authorised user of our systems for security purposes;
- add you to our Newsletter email list (from which you are free to unsubscribe at any time)
- conduct market or customer satisfaction surveys/research;
- meet audit and record keeping purposes;
