PC Literacy Training

In partnership with HS Training, Bridgewater provides a self-contained PC literacy training tool, called Educate-IT, that is aimed at first-time computer users and those wishing to improve their Microsoft Office skills. This is an ideal product for schools, community centres, call centre training facilities, government departments and training companies.

Training is delivered using a combination of voiceover, animations and simulations to make learning fun and memorable. The learning process follows the well established methodology of Tell-Try-Test and allows learners to experience simulated versions of the actual applications without fear of mistake. Our learner assessments (using Assess-IT, which is linked to Educate-IT) have a simulation focus so that actual application of knowledge can be assured.

Bridgewater assists in the implementation and management of the learning process through the provision of facilitators or by training our clients’ own facilitators. In this way the service is end-to-end and requires nothing of the client except a training room with networked computers.

All the training material is unit standards aligned.
