Course Details:

Microsoft’s Excel 2007 is a powerful spreadsheet program used predominantly to manage numerical data - organising it in a logical way, automatically calculating figures, graphically representing this information and a host of other functions. This has uses in business in such circumstances as preparing budgets, analysing trends, summarising results, assisting with common calculations and even as a database for storing information.

Excel 2007 expands on the power the previous release of the software brought to spreadsheeting. Incorporating the new Ribbon navigation feature, standard across the Office 2007 range of software, Excel 2007 can be daunting to both new and existing users of Excel.

This course on Excel gets learners well acquainted with the software and will be appreciated by both those with no experience of Excel and those wanting to expand on their existing knowledge. The course covers a huge range of practical skills and a full list of the course’s lessons together with the topics covered in each lesson is provided to learners so that they may focus their attention on those areas of greatest need.

The course’s author follows an extremely methodical approach and uses and creates working Excel files that are made available to learners to practice as they learn.
