Microsoft Outlook 2003 provides an integrated solution for managing and organising e-mail messages, schedules, tasks, notes, contacts and other information. With advanced customization features, Outlook is much more than just and e-mail/calendar application.

This course provides a complete overview of the features of Outlook from the very basics to advanced functionality. It's ideal for both first time users and existing users wanting to get the most out of the application.


Learning Outcomes :

The outcomes of the this course are as follows:
  • To use Outlook 2003's e-mail capabilities to the full, from sending and receiving, to adding signatures and using the research pane for better understanding of correspondence.
  • To learn how to add and manage contacts.
  • To be able to use the calendar to manage time, scheduling events, appointments and meetings.
  • To be able to use tasks and notes in order to log all workpieces, as well as using the Journal to track correspondence and actions.
  • To be able to customize Outlook 2003 to maximise its usefulness for the individual.
  • To be able to prevent any virus threats conveyed through Outlook by using the security features.
  • To be able to used advanced capabilities such as handwriting or speech recognition, or the Business Contact Manager if necessary.
  • To be able to use Outlook with Microsoft's Exchange Server.
