Course Details:

Sometimes conflict in the workplace is unavoidable. Resolving a conflict to the benefit of both parties is obviously the most favourable outcome. Of course, sometimes the other person is just being difficult, so it helps to know how to deal with them effectively. However, what should you do when your remedy attempts have failed?

This course first takes you through a ten-step process for resolving a conflict. Then, it will show you how to choose the appropriate course of action for dealing with a difficult person. Finally, it looks at some possible actions that you might consider taking when your efforts to resolve a conflict at work have failed.

It consists of 3 modules:
  1. Meet to Resolve the Problem - This topic covers a ten-step process for reaching a positive outcome for both parties in conflict.
  2. Tailor Your Approach - How to choose an appropriate course of action for dealing with difficult people and situations at work.
  3. What if My Efforts Fail? - This topic considers the options available to you when faced with an irresolvable problem.
This course forms part of the Prime Effectiveness curriculum from PrimeLearning.

  • Select the most appropriate action to handle a difficult situation, based on the specific circumstances.
