Course Details:

People need to be continually motivated to perform at their best and it isn't sufficient that you rely on personal motivation to keep your team from becoming despondent. As a team leader there are 3 critical elements, called maintenance factors, that you need to know about and which can prevent your team members from becoming dissatisfied.

If your goal was merely to prevent dissatisfaction, your job might be done, but in truth you need a motivated team, not just a satisfied one. There are a number of motivators and each team member may be motivated in different ways. You may be surprised to hear that money is not the strongest motivator!

This course teaches you about motivation in a team setting and consists of 2 modules:

Avoiding Dissatisfaction - Identifying factors that can control dissatisfaction
Motivating Team Members - Identifying which rewards will work for each team members

This course forms part of the PrimeTeam Building curriculum from Prime Learning.
